Huge congratulations to the U13 netball team who have been crowned Regional IAPS Champions at Stamford School.

The campaign began against King’s Ely, where 91风流楼凤settled quickly and produced a convincing 18–3 victory. Sharp shooting and relentless defensive pressure set the tone for the day. Confidence grew in the second match against Winterfold School, where the team maintained their winning streak with another strong performance.
In the final group game against Repton, the girls were outstanding. Slick centre-court play and accurate finishing saw them secure a commanding 14–2 win to top their group in style.
The quarter final against Beachborough School saw 91风流楼凤continue their dominant form, once again winning 14–2. The defensive unit worked tirelessly to turn over possession, allowing the attacking end to capitalise.
The semi final proved to be a far more physical and fiercely contested encounter against St Peter’s York. It was a feisty and competitive match, but the girls dug deep, showing resilience and composure under pressure to secure a superb 10–7 victory.
Reaching the final also confirmed that 91风流楼凤had qualified for the National Finals - a fantastic achievement in itself.
In the final, 91风流楼凤faced Spratton Hall for the first-place position. It was a high-quality contest, with both teams displaying excellent netball. However, Bromsgrove’s determination, teamwork and calmness in key moments proved decisive as they secured a brilliant 13–10 victory.
The final whistle sparked wonderful celebrations as the girls were presented with gold medals and the winner’s shield - a richly deserved reward for their commitment and performance throughout the day. It was particularly special that Old Bromsgrovian Corey McGlynn was there to present the medals and shield. Corey is the NXT Gen Captain for Nottingham Forest Netball Club, making the occasion even more inspirational for the girls.
A huge congratulations to the U13 squad : Sienna C, Darcey H, Lily H, Jemima L, Annie N, Olivia M, Bea S and Charlotte W. Regional Champions once again - and now on to Nationals.
Well done to the U11A boys' hockey team who have been crowned IAPS Regional Hockey Champions.
The team travelled to Queen’s Taunton School to compete in the Regional IAPS qualifying tournament. The group stage began with an excellent performance against The Elms, where the team dominated from the outset and secured a 1–0 victory.
Next up was a tough fixture against a very strong Clifton College side. In a tightly contested match, neither team could break the deadlock, resulting in a well-earned 0–0 draw.
The final group match saw the team suffer their only group-stage defeat, narrowly losing 0–1 to Bristol Grammar School. Despite this, the team finished as group runners-up and progressed to the Cup competition.
In the quarter-final, the boys faced Mount Kelly, winners of their own group. After going behind in the first half, the team showed great resilience to fight back, with Henry B scoring a late equaliser to force a penalty shootout.
Joe C-K made several excellent saves in the shootout, and Noah C held his nerve to score the winning penalty, sending the team into a semi-final clash with local rivals RGS The Grange.
The semi-final was arguably the team’s best performance of the day. Although the final score was 1–0, the boys controlled the match throughout and deservedly booked their place in the final - a result that also confirmed their qualification for the National Finals.
Saving their finest display for last, the team produced a superb performance to defeat Millfield 2–0 in the final. Noah C opened the scoring with a clinical strike, and Henry B added a well-taken poacher’s finish at the back post to seal the Regional Qualifier title.
Congratulations to the entire U11 squad: Joe C-K, Krish P, Ashwin R, Josh P, Ted S, Noah C, Henry B, Otto G, Toby B, and Jake W.
Onwards to the National Finals in late March.
